Ford Maverick 2l Ecoboost Awd Lariat 03

The All-New 2022 Ford Maverick

The 2022 Ford Maverick is a completely new compact pickup truck that offers a full-hybrid powertrain as standard and will soon be available at Diers Ford Lincoln in Fremont, NE. The new pickup offers an exceptional value with an MSRP of under $20,000. The targeted EPA-estimated fuel economy should be around 40 mpg city, and up to 500 miles of range on a single tank of gas means it will have better fuel-economy efficiency than many vehicles in the compact sedan segment.

Despite the new vehicle’s compact design and fuel-efficient hybrid powertrain, this is still very much a pickup truck. The bed can handle a standard payload of up to 1,500 pounds and enough space to hold items like a standard-sized ATV. The Maverick also offers a towing capacity of up to 2,000 pounds which opens up plenty of options for additional toys or a decent-sized pop-up camper.

For those that love the size of the compact Maverick, but need even more capability and options, ask the team at Diers Ford Lincoln about upgrading to the 2.0-liter EcoBoost® gas engine delivering 250 horsepower and 277 lb.-ft. of torque. The optional engine upgrade comes with additional options like all-wheel drive or the optional 4K Tow Package.

Even with its budget-friendly starting MSRP, the Maverick offers a ton of great standard features and tech including Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®, both of which pair nicely with the standard 8-inch center touch screen. The Maverick is also equipped with standard FordPass™ which allows you to find the truck, check the fuel level, lock and unlock the doors, and start or turn off the vehicle – all from your phone. When on the road FordPass™ allows passengers to connect to onboard Wi-Fi.

“One thing that’s non-negotiable is that Maverick is Built Ford Tough,” said Chris Mazur, a third-generation Ford employee who led the development of the all-new pickup as chief engineer. “Our engineers were unrelenting, putting it through a battery of vicious on-road, off-road, environmental, and simulated customer use testing until we were satisfied. Ford trucks are Ford trucks – through and through.”

2022 F 150 Lightening

Ford Introduces All-Electric F-150 Lightning Pickup

Continuing its reign as America’s best selling pickup truck for more than four decades, the Ford F-150 is about to get its biggest advancement ever with the introduction of the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning. The new electric truck will soon be available at Diers Ford. Ford engineers worked tirelessly to ensure that the F-150 Lightning can stand up to all of the work that F-150 owners do on a daily basis, while also including a ton of new technology.

Built with dual in-board electric motors, standard four-wheel drive, and a choice of two large battery packs, the 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning is built to take on tough terrain, bad weather, and anything else you can throw at it. Up to 10,000 pounds of towing capacity and 2,000 pounds of payload capacity also make it one of the most capable trucks on the road.

The extra power and torque from the electric motors doesn’t just help with towing either. The F-150 Lightning is one of the most powerful versions of the F-150 ever made – with an impressive 563 horsepower and 775 lb.-ft. of torque (the most of any F-150 ever) and an estimated 0-60 time as low as the mid-4 second range. Combined with new independent rear suspension, the F-150 Lightning offers an exhilarating drive that is both quiet and comfortable as well.

Pro features like the built-in generator that can power your house, in-bed scales, and the lockable front trunk are just a few of the useful features Ford thought of when designing the F-150 Lightning. The new 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning is just one of Ford’s new all-electric vehicles that are part of the company’s push to electrify more of its lineup, which includes the new Mustang Mach-E and Ford E-Transit.

With its new focus on advancing technology, Ford is also going to be working to make the F-150 Lightning better over time, with over-the-air updates that can add new features to the vehicle. SYNC 4A is available as well, and can be optioned with a large 15.5-inch touchscreen that has built-in Amazon Alexa, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. There’s no doubt that the F-150 Lightning is the most advanced truck ever built.
